Discovery meets Chapter 24 presents…Second Story Fri 24th March
downstairs-Jac The Disco and Neil Thornton are back in the disco saloon as they return to London’s original Disco pub the Horse & Groom for their March instalment. As always there will be some extra hot visuals as the Discovery residents will be rising the disco heat.
The Discovery party ethos is simple; bringing the party to the party, where the guys and girls on the dance floor have as much fun as their guests who join them in the DJ booth; thus providing a magical carpet ride throughout the entire evening where you can expect to hear the finest house, disco, four to the floor party jammer’s, rediscovered classics and lots more.
The Discovery parties have been headstrong for 8 years and have seen acclaimed guests such as Tornado Wallace, Mark E, Pete Herbert, Dicky Trisco, I:Cube, Andy Blake, Eric Duncan, Rahaan, Justin Vandervolgen, Young Marco, Baby G, Loud E, The Revenge and many more joining them in the DJ Booth.Get down for free entry before 10pm or click on the ticket link for £3 disco tickets.
Upstairs sees Second Story is a series of parties hosted by Chapter 24 co-founders and resident DJs Más Black and Sam Pauli (together known as VVerses), upstairs at The Horse & Groom in Shoreditch. It’s a chance for the label’s friends and family, both old and new, to get together, socialise and dance to the sounds of melodic house and techno with heart and soul.
Every other month, we invite a special guest to join us in providing the soundtrack to the night. Our next guest is Kieran Apter, co-founder and resident DJ of weekly Edinburgh house and techno night Tweak_. Kieran will be heading south of the border to show us exactly why he’s regarded as one of Edinburgh’s best selectors and plays alongside the likes of Tale Of Us, Mano Le Tough and Lee Burridge. Listen out for Kieran’s debut EP, which will be released on Chapter 24 later this year.
